Goodbye Vanilla was tasked with launching a wide scale social campaign for African Community & Conservation Foundation (ACCF), in collaboration with Paula Abdul, designed to empower women and children in rural Africa.
We designed a multi-faceted social campaign tapping into Paula’s influential singing and dance career to draw focus to the cause while inviting individuals to participate in the viral dance experience and contribute towards the organization. The campaign focused on leveraging influencer-type videos that featured Paul and friends dancing to on-trend songs. We used these assets for whitelisting and running paid ads to drive up engagement and equity in communities.
Since launching, we helped ACCF achieve a top trend across TikTok. We were able to reach over 325k people on top of Paula’s following of 1.6MM. While reaching more people, we were also able to produce a high velocity and volume of clicks to the campaign’s landing page at only $0.16 per click alongside an extremely high average CTR of 3.69% – exceeding platform benchmark by well over 200% (1.00% vs. 3.69%).
