Northern Tool + Equipment, a $1B+ retailer, engaged GV to advise and define a strategic path forward through for best-in-class paid and organic social media implementation, with an emphasis on testing new delivery types, acquiring new segments, and supporting aggressive sales targets.
Through discovery and alignment, we designed a comprehensive ‘build it while you fly it’ approach to take advantage of immediate opportunities and implement a framework for scale. All of this was at a time when investment in online platforms was more than ever in human history. In fact, amidst the election and at the height of the shopping season, there had been over a 246% increase in spend YOY on Facebook Advertising.
We helped Northern Tool + Equipment achieve massive success, increasing revenue 128%+ year over year and, moreover, we beat total revenue for the entire previous year in a single quarter, despite spending 17% less. We were sitting at nearly 37X overall ROAS and over 8 for click ROAS.
